Makes 3/4 cup

  • 2 c Canned unsweetened pumpkin
  • 2/3 c Packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tlbs Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp Ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp Ground cloves

Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring often, until thickened and darkened. Cool. Store in glass jar in refrigerator for several weeks.
