The small Indian corn we grow is actually popcorn!

Leave it out at room temperature as a decoration until about January 1st. Then take the husk off and put the whole cob in a brown paper bag and fold the top closed. Put it in the microwave on high for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes, or until the popping slows to 2-3 seconds apart. STOP MICROWAVE. Carefully handle hot popping bag. Popping creates steam – open away from face. Caution: Cob is extremely hot – allow for cooling before handling!
